BC Public Sector Retiree Health & Wellness Benefit Plan

April 2012

The British Columbia Government Retired Employees' Association (BCGREA) is pleased to announce that the Association is now sponsoring a Health & Wellness Benefit Program to future and current retirees, including spouses of deceased retirees to participate in the BC Public Sector Retiree Health & Wellness Benefit Plan administered by Johnson Inc.

Starting April 1, 2012, BCGREA retirees who are vested in a British Columbia government sponsored pension plan for a minimum of five (5) years and who are age 55 and older are eligible to join the BC Public Sector Retiree Health & Wellness Benefit Plan. Please note you must provide proof of enrolment in the BC Fair PharmaCare Plan in order to be covered under the BC Public Sector Retiree Health & Wellness Benefit Plan for BCGREA members. The BC Forest Service celebrates 100 years of exemplary resource stewardship in 2012. The aim of this website is to provide the public with an account and historical overview of the last 100 years of Forest Service in the Province of British Columbia. The history of the BC Forest Service is varied, encompassing a range of goals and objectives, all designed to safeguard, promote and sustain the many facets of Forest Management throughout our province.

In commemoration of our 100 year history of managing British Columbia's forests and rangelands, we have created this retrospective website at www.bcfs100.ca Browse and learn about the people, the stories, the places and the technologies which have come to define the proud past of the BC Forest Service.
